That is why we have decided to provide a wide range of articles, developed from recycled raw materials, low environmental impact, or from forests managed according to the sustainability principles set by the Forest Stewardship Council® regulations..
WHAT IS FSC®
“Forest Stewardship Council®”
FSC® is a certification system that allows the final consumer to recognize products made from raw materials that are supplied from forests managed in an environmentally and socially correct way.
In a FSC® certified forest the cut is controlled and does not affect the overall health of the forest itself.
FSC® was founded by a group of environmentalists including Greenpeace, indigenous peoples, development cooperation organizations, forestry producers, workers, wood industry, scientists and forest technicians to create an alternative to forestry destruction.
Buying from an FSC® certified company means buying a cellulose product (and therefore Viscose) that does not contribute to the destruction of forests.
This means that purchasing an FSC® product rewards a company that uses a nature product for its business, but respects it and seeks to protect it.
A wide range of forests around the world is FSC® certified: Scandinavian pine plantations, Alpine pine forests and alpine larches in Italy, Oak and beech forests in Eastern Europe, tropical forests in Brazil, Indonesia, Mexico, etc.
There are thousands of FSC® branded brands on the market, including furniture and interior and exterior furniture, kitchen utensils, kitchen and printing paper, paper handkerchiefs, coverings and floorings, frames and many more.

with FSC® certificates in all counts with twisting, combining and cove- ring systems.
Bemberg is a matchless, high tech natural material, with a special touch aesthetic. It controls moisture and is antistatic, its soft versatility is perfect for the modern wardrobe. Bemberg has been made since 1931, uniquely by Asahi Kasei, from natural and abundant cotton linter bioutility waste that confers true Circular Economy credentials. This bio waste is converted into the Bemberg fiber innovation. It is a traceable and transparent process, with improved energy and water use, recovering almost all materials in its dynamic waste management system. Bemberg is biodegradable material as verified by the INNOVHUB 3rd party test.
Bemberg has GRS certication from the Textile Exchange that proves recycling authenticity. Bemberg is also Oekotex Standard 100 and Eco Mark certified. The factory of Bemberg has ISO 14001 certication.
Asahi Kasei has a new LCA study signed and validated by ICEA. This important step builds and confirms new quality profile standards for Bemberg, helping to define and secure a more responsible position today, while facilitating continuous smart improvements in future. Bemberg is a smart innovation work-in-progress, on a true journey to be better through ongoing investments in planned Research and Developments by Asahi Kasei.

Ghezzi Spa proposes yarns made from cellulose fibers Eco-friendly from cotton linters, which are the short fibers that cover the cotton seeds.
The cotton linter is a waste of cotton processing that is collected after the separation between the cotton bud (which will be used for cotton yarns) and the seeds. The cotton linter is then worked (just like the wood pulp) to get the pulp of cellulose with which artificial fibers of Viscose will be produced. Ghezzi Spa offers continuous filament Viscose yarns with twisting, combining and covering systems.
TANBOOCEL®-Bamboo fiber is natural antibacterial and bacteriostatic, hygroscopic and permeable, smooth and soft, as well as ultraviolet-proof. Its downstream products can be applied for apparel, bedding articles, bathroom fittings, medicals, underwear, socks, home textiles etc.
NATURAL AND ANTI-BACTERIA
TANBOOCEL®-Bamboo fiber has particular and natural functions of anti-bacteria, bacteriostatic and deodorization. It is validated by Japan Textile Inspection Association that, even after fifty times of washing, bamboo fiber fabric still possesses excellent function of anti-bacteria and bacteriostatic.
BREATHABLE AND COOL
TANBOOCEL®-Bamboo fiber boasts advantages of breathability and coolness. According to authoritative testing figures, apparels made from bamboo fibers are 1-2 degrees lower than normal apparels in hot summer. Apparel made from bamboo fiber is crowned as “Air Conditioning Dress”.
GREEN AND BIODEGRADABLE
TANBOOCEL®-Bamboo fiber is 100% made from bamboo through high-tech process. In addition, bamboo fiber is biodegradable textile material. As a natural cellulose fiber, it can be completely biodegraded in soil by microorganism and sunshine. The decomposition process doesn’t cause any pollution to the environment.

Ghezzi Spa can offer a variety of continuous Polyester and Polyamide yarns from recycled or organic origin, or post-consumer recyclable raw materials. It can also offer artificial spun fiber yarns from eco-sustainable productions (such as Lyocell, for example).
These and all other ecofriendly yarns can be twisted on RoicaTM Eco-Smart, the only ecostretch sustainable spandex certified GRS (Global Recycle Standard by Textile Exchange) as its production utilizes technologies that allow to reuse more than 50% of polymer residues pre-consumer, adding an ethical and responsible value to the entire supply chain.
